Commission Terms – Dagger-6 Art

Artist reserves the right to refuse any commission request.

Any topics not specifically discussed below default to the discretion of the artist.
All terms are subject to change based on individual commission agreements.

Payment

All prices provided are estimates only. Final price will be assessed based on individual client proposals.
Payment accepted via Paypal or Venmo
Full payment must be made before work on a commission will begin, unless otherwise negotiated. Artist is not obligated to provide a commission until payment is received and may close commission slots at any point prior.
Failure to pay in full within 2 weeks of commission completion will result in client forfeiting all rights to the commission as well as any prior deposits.
Refunds are at the discretion of the artist. Client has no explicit right to refunds, and should expect a fee for any work performed in the event a refund is provided.
In the event the artist decides to cancel the commission, a full refund will be provided. Artist will retain all rights to any work done and is not obligated to release any work to the client.

Client may request a progress update at an point in time.
Artist will send progress updates at various stages of the process (thumbnail, sketch, final lines, colors, etc.). The number of updates sent will vary based on the commission.
Client should provide any feedback or requests during progress update points whenever possible. If no feedback is received within 24 hours of progress update, it will be assumed that no changes are requested.
Major revision requests that require substantial changes may require additional cost or be refused by the artist.

Unless a deadline is agreed upon prior to payment, turnaround time for delivery of the final product is at the discretion of the artist.
Delivery time may vary based on other commissions.
A rough estimate of work time may be provided by the artist, but this is only an estimate and should not be taken as a deadline.
Final commission will be delivered through a dropbox link to the contact provided. The link will be maintained for a minimum of one week for the commissioner to download the files, however there is no obligation by the artist to host the files beyond the timeframe.
Unless specified prior to payment, resolution, file format, etc. are at the discretion of the artist.
Once final delivery is submitted, artist is not obligated to provide any further revisions.

Unless agreed upon prior, artist retains all original copyrights including the right to reproduce or share the artwork for personal portfolio purposes.
Derivative work, including use in AI generation and training, requires consent of copyright holder.
Unless agreed upon prior, commissions are for non-commercial personal use only. Any commercial use (i.e. reproduction, NFT sales) may result in additional fees or legal action.
Client agrees to properly credit the artwork and will not misrepresent themselves as the artist.
Any requests for exclusivity, promotion, etc. must be agreed upon prior to payment.
